WELCOME TO THE CARL-HENNING PEDERSEN & ELSE ALFELTS MUSEUM The Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt Museum was inaugurated in 1976 as one of the relatively few "artist’s museums" in Denmark. The work of Carl-Henning Pedersen ( 1913 - 2007) and Else Alfelt (1910 -1974) is abundantly represented by paintings, watercolours, prints, sculptures, ceramics, glass paintings and mosaics. The display of the permanent collection changes, presenting Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt’s works in ever new constellations. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum has established the new tradition by showing works of artists with whom Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt share the common ground of artistic ideas.
